Happy first day of winter! While I admit Winter is my least favorite season of the year, it does have some merits, like getting to make lots of baked goods and comfort foods. The cold and I just don't get along though, hello joint pain from lupus and arthritis. I do try to keep things fun and entertaining for my daughter's sake though, thus my Winter Bucket List.
I started doing a seasonal bucket list in the Fall time, and had so much fun with it that I decided to keep it going, sort of like a family tradition if you will. Although I didn't get ALL of my items marked off that first list, it was certainly fun attempting to and marking each one off the list as I did so. I'm hoping to get closer to finishing the list below though.
Take a winter-themed family picture
Decorate for winter
Bundle up and take a nature walk
Make a snowman
Make snow angels
Go snow tubing
Make up a batch of homemade hot cocoa mix
Do more baking and give the extras to friends and neighbors
Make a pot of soup, chili or stew once a week, and enjoy the leftovers for lunch throughout the week
Make egg-less eggnog
Crochet a scarf
Take a trip to somewhere warm, like Florida! Done
