Petoskey and Pine Artisan Soap Review and Giveaway {Closed}

A couple of weeks ago I teased you with a little post on an upcoming review and giveaway I was going to do with a group of my fellow blogger friends. Sneak Peek Post. Well, that long awaited review and giveaway of Petoskey and Pine's All-Natural Soap and Lip Balm Review and Giveaway I promised you is here!

Petoskey and Pine is a bath and beauty company created with the idea of using only the purest ingredients with respect to the environment. They research their suppliers to ensure that they provide sustainable products and purchase those products through fair trade programs. They are a small company that produces everything by hand and they test all their products on themselves to ensure they meet their high standards”.

It's important for me to use products that are natural. I hate the idea of putting unpronounceable and potentially dangerous chemicals on my body. Not a problem with Petoskey and Pine. They provide you with luxurious products that contain the scents of nature, using all natural and environmentally friendly ingredients.

  • No Artificial/Synthetic Fragrances – They only use pure essential oils or plant absolutes when adding scents to their products.
  • No Artificial Colors – All of their colors are all natural and never artificially produced.
  • No Artificial Preservatives - They extend the life of their soaps by curing them properly and using all natural antioxidants.
  • No Petrochemical Oils – They only use plant based oils and butters like olive oil, coconut oil, castor oil, or mango butter.
  • No Animal Products
  • *CAUTION: Their soaps may contain Almond Oil, Coconut Oil, and other ingredients that some people may be allergic to. All of their products are processed in the same facility.

I chose to try their Floral Hearts soap. It contains notes of Lemongrass and Geranium, along with mango butter. It has a unique fresh scent with soft floral notes. I have sensitive skin, and was a little nervous the first time I tried the soap. But I worried needlessly. The soap lathered up well, and left my skin feeling clean and soft. Not striped dry the way some soaps have in the past. I didn't break out and get blotchy either, another problem I have with most soaps.

Soap isn't the only treat you can find at Petoskey and Pine. They also sell all-natural lip balms and candles! I tried their peppermint lip balm and fell in love with it. Their lip balms are made with all-natural ingredients such as almond oil, coconut oil, shea butter, castor seed oil, Vitamin E, and essential oils. The lip balm left my lips soft and smooth and lasted quite awhile without having to reapply it. It also gave my lips a gentle, yet delightful tingle when I first applied it that I really enjoyed.

I was VERY satisfied with the products I tried. This is the kind of small business that really deserves our support, so please drop by their website to check out their products.
